The Boo Blanket Log-Cabin Style Quilt was hand knit by David Hamilton, a writer, teacher and knitter living in Ottawa.  When he's not writing science fiction novels or running workshops, he can be found in his big chair with balls of yarn and needles creating Mary Maxim sweaters or log cabin blankets.  He became interested  in knitting at a young age from his mother, Elizabeth (aka Boo), who created all kinds of knitted works of art.  Finding vintage Mary Maxim sweater patterns and re-sizing them is his knitting love, and he enjoys making those for himself and his family.

Boo was the nickname given Elizabeth by her grandson and it kinda stuck.  Family lore suggests that Boo likely came from a game of peekaboo!

The Boo-Blanket Log-Cabin Style Quilt measures 4' x 5.5' and will stretch a bit over time.  Knit with easy care synthetic yarns, The Boo Blanket is machine washable and dryable.
