I am a 50-something dog-lovin', plant growin', mother of four 20- somethings who absolutely loves knitting! I knit in my house, on the beach, in the park, in the car, on a paddleboard, on zoom calls, and even on a treadmill! In fact, people are more surprised to see me without my knitting than with my needles in hand.

I am also passionate about mental health recovery. Mental health has affected me personally and a member of my family. I decided to harness my talent and knit to fundraise for women's mental health programs at the Royal, a Mental Health Centre here in the nation's capital.

Also, I am the team captain of the Shopper's Drugmart Run for Women Team Sweet - sporty women, encouraging and empowering together.

100% of proceeds (after costs for materials) will directly support women's mental health programs at the Royal through Team Sweet.
