These sweet shawlettes are designed to be worn as accessories, similar to scarves, but without the bulk.  Triangular or crescent-shaped, they resemble a shawl, but are smaller-scale.  Typically, shawlettes are worn crossed in front or tied at the back or worn open, over the shoulders. Brooches and shawl pins can be added to suit the wearer.
